When Will the Media Interview Somalis About the 'Somali' Pirates?

I've been thinking this same thing. Here's an interesting article: http://rebelreports.com/post/95749163/when-will-the-media-interview-somalis-about-the

"The truth is, if you ask any Somali, if getting rid of the pirates only means the continuous rape of our coast by unmonitored Western Vessels, and the producing of a new cancerous generation, we would all fly our pirate flags high."

"...one man’s pirate is another man’s coast guard."

As always, you can never rely on a story as it is framed by the mainstream corporate media.

P.S. - I'm sure you've all heard or read about the so-called "dramatic" rescue of US Capt. Richard Phillips' from the evil Somali pirate horde. But here's the thing: I find it hard to believe that the US Navy, having surrounded these three so-called "pirates" with warships, whom have already "agreed to let the USS Bainbridge tow their powerless lifeboat out of rough water", could not have worked out a resolution where no lives had to be taken. The Navy said the Capt. was tied up and in "imminent danger" of being killed when he was rescued.

Maybe this is true.

Maybe not.

BTW - according to Defense Secretary Robert Gates, the pirates were between 17 and 19 years old.
